Hello Members!

Los Angeles NACE is back! After being away from the NACE family for quite some time, we are so thrilled to be up and running again. We've got big plans here in the City of Angels, but we have to walk before we can run.

We recently held our first monthly meeting with great success due in part to our fabulous guest speaker, Ian Blackburn www.learnaboutwine.com, and the time & effort put in by our small yet resourceful Board. So thank you to Jeff, Jennifer, Deborah and Rachel for a job well done.

Programs are one of the core components of any chapter. Our goal is to educate our members so they can continue to excel in their respective fields. Please let us know if you have any ideas or feedback for your board on future programs. We welcome your input.

Over the next several months we will strive to increase our membership. Bringing in new members helps the chapter, national organization and most importantly, each other. Each new member brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to all of us.

I recently had the opportunity to attend the 2006 NACE Educational Conference in Phoenix. All I can say is WOW! I came away with an abundance of new ideas and 110% support for the success of the Los Angeles Chapter.

I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing organization and I look forward to sharing that excitement with the rest of Los Angeles.
